Easy DIY Teacher Appreciation Gift Basket Idea 🍎

Teacher appreciation week always sneaks up on me, so this year I wanted to create something thoughtful, cute, and practical for my kids’ teachers without making it overly complicated.

I put together these fun teacher gift caddies using supplies from Office Depot OfficeMax, and they turned out so adorable! I love gifts that feel personalized but are still useful, and this one checks all the boxes.

What I Used

I grabbed all of my supplies from Office Depot OfficeMax, which made this project super easy because I could get everything in one trip.

For each gift caddy, I used:

  • A desk organizer/caddy
  • Pens and markers
  • Sticky notes
  • Notepads
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Hole punch
  • Stickers
  • Penant

To make each gift feel extra special, I personalized them with a few DIY details.

How I Personalized the Teacher Gifts

I used a Cricut to cut each teacher’s name in vinyl and added it directly to the front of the caddy for a custom touch.

Then I printed these adorable teacher pennant tags from Thread Mama:

To finish everything off, I added:

  • Tulle
  • Sparkly yarn
  • Gold star ribbon ✨

These little details made the gifts feel so festive and fun while still keeping the overall project simple.

Why I Love This Teacher Gift Idea

As a mom, I’m always trying to find gifts that feel intentional but don’t create extra stress or require shopping at five different stores.
