Snow Globe Gift Card Holder – Teacher Gift Idea

Since my kids started school last year I have had so much fun putting together fun and festive teacher gifts. This year, as soon as I saw this snow hat container/snow globe in the Target Dollar Spot I knew it would be the perfect vessel (I like that word) for a gift card and other goodies for the teachers in our life this holiday season. Below is a rundown of the supplies and gifts I used to create this unique and perfectly curated teacher gift.

Supplies

  • Target Dollar Spot snow hat globe/container
  • Mini bottle brush trees
  • Fake snow/batting
  • Chunky/sparkly yarn, tulle, ribbon, etc.
  • Gift tag
  • Holiday pennant
  • Gift bag

Gift Ideas

  • Gift card
  • Key chain
  • Eraser
  • Lotion
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Face mask

Instructions

Open the snow hat globe and fill the bottom with fake snow/batting.

Add a couple mini bottle brush trees to the snow and then add your gift card in between.

Fill in the remaining space with some of the smaller gifts you have. I used a large eraser and a cute rainbow keychain.

When finished, put the lid back on. Tie some ribbon or yarn around the top pompom and use this to hang the gift tag.

I put the finished product into a homemade gift bag and also added a homemade ornament and a few other small gifts. I finished it off with an adorable holiday pennant.
