I think my latest “pandemic hobby” might be cleaning. This past weekend I went on a rampage cleaning things and spaces in my house I am embarrassed to say I haven’t cleaned in ages. Like my sliding glass door and my glass stove top for instance. While the dog slobber and child hand prints on my door were easily wiped away with paper towels and Windex; my stove top was another story. Windex didn’t cut it. The glass stove top cleaner I bought didn’t cut it. Yelling curse words at it didn’t cut it.
Then I discovered this glorious mom-hack stove top cleaning magic potion and my curse words turned to words of praise and awe. So now, I am going to share this secret recipe with you all (aren’t you lucky?!). The best part – you probably already have everything you need in your cabinet or closet at home!

SUPPLIES
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Dish Soap
- Baking Powder
- White Vinegar
- Paper Towels
- Sponge
- Measuring Cup/Spoons
- Small Bowl
INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe down your stove top as you normally would to get rid of any crumbs/mess.

Mix 1 tablespoon of dish soap with 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl.

Pour the soap/peroxide mixture over your glass stove top and spread it around with a sponge.

Shake baking soda over the soap/peroxide mixture.

Swirl around with a sponge and let it sit for about five minutes.

Wet your sponge and scrub the stove! You may want to use a Brillo sponge or a brush to get the hard pieces off of the stove (I even scratched some off with my finger nails).

Once you have wiped all of the mixture off, there will be a white film left on the stove top. Wet a paper towel with the white vinegar and wipe the stove top clean – this will give it a great shine!

Voila – your stove top should look almost new! Feel free to repeat the process as needed until your stove top is up to your standards – I did this twice over the span of one weekend and am so happy with the results!
