Tis the season for festive holiday and winter decor! My Decocrated Winter Box was delivered just as I was decking the halls of my home for the impending winter holidays and let me tell you; it did not disappoint! I know I’ve talked to you about Decocrated before, but in case you missed it here is my elevator pitch:

The Framed Art

Designed by the Winter Box’s featured artist, the framed art is perfect for the winter holidays, but could also be used year-round. It would look great on a gallery wall but I also think it would make a fun tray for serving breakfast in bed, or holding jewelry! I have a feeling mine is going to change locations and purposes often.

The Boho Snowflake

The boho snowflake is made up of multi-stained wood pieces and is large enough to hang on your door or in your window. I recently painted mine white to better fit in with my farmhouse vibe and I love how it turned out. You could also set this piece on a mantle or built-in shelves.

The Art Prints

Another featured artist design, the two-sided art print keeps with the theme of #ItTakesAWinterVillage and is so cute and whimsical. Either side is perfect for the winter months, regardless of the impending holiday. We have a LOT of different shades of blue throughout our home, so I know I will have no problem fitting this in somewhere.

The Sled Shelf

This is my absolute FAVORITE piece from the Winter Box – a small, wooden shelf shaped like a sled! It is versatile in that it can be mounted to a wall or used as a tabletop shelf (just secure the bottom between the wall and the table so the lower shelf is flush with the table). I found the perfect spot for it right next to our staircase. It is currently displaying a small portion of my bottle brush tree collection, the tabletop calendar and some of the village houses.

The Tabletop Calendar

Speaking of the tabletop calendar – here it is! The wooden blocks are multi-sided so that you can flip and change them according to the day, week, month and date. I have always wanted something like this and am so happy with the size and the quality.

The Village Houses

Oh. Em. Gee. These wooden village houses are just darling. I love the colors, they mix so well will the Winter 2020 ceramic trees. I’ve noticed that Christmas and holiday villages are making a comeback this year, and I plan to jump on the bandwagon. Right now my village is split between the sled shelf and on my electric fireplace in my bedroom.

The Winter Pillow

A double-sided lumbar pillow with a winter wonderland forest, this pillow is the perfect accent the Spring 2019 blue pillows and the Winter 2019 woven throw blanket. Whether you are warming up after playing in the snow or cozying up by the fire to read a book – this pillow is picture perfect!

And that’s all she wrote! One other thing I want to give the folks at Decocrated kudos for is their ability to pack a box. It never ceases to amaze me the way they Tetris all of the pieces perfectly into the package. Maybe they can come rearrange my attic?!?
