Red, White & Blue Floral Door Wreath

We all know how much I love a good DIY wreath, and it hit me recently that I didn’t have a 4th of July wreath (shocking, I know) so I decided to recreate my favorite wreath to date with a little Independence Day twist. I have hung the final product on the interior side of my front door along with a “Peace, Love, USA” doormat and some other patriotic decor.

Here are all the details so you can make one for yourself!

Supplies:

❤️ 12” embroidery hoop

💙 2” split wood balls

❤️ 1” split wood balls

💙 Red/white/blue fake flowers

❤️ Faux greenery

💙 Floral wire

❤️ Wire cutters

💙 Hot glue/glue gun

Assembly Instructions

Start by hot gluing the split wood balls to one side of the embroidery hoop, alternating in a big + small + big + small pattern. Cover about 2/3 of the hoop and then stop.

Determine how you would like to arrange the flowers on the empty part or the hoop and secure them one at a time using the floral wire. You may need to use some hot glue as well.

And that is literally all there is to it! I used a command hook to hang my finished wreath on the inside of my front door. Definitely make sure you use a hook made to hang heavier items because the split wood balls add some weight!
