Tootsie Pop Cherry Valentine Supplies

You’ll need:
- Multiple bags of Valentine Tootsie Pops (cherry works best!)
- Green pipe cleaners
- Red and white twine or ribbon
- Leaf-shaped tags (I made mine on Canva)
- Hole punch
How to Make Tootsie Pop Cherries
This project is simple enough for little hands and makes a great after-school Valentine’s Day activity.
Step 1: Create the Cherry Stems

Start by wrapping a green pipe cleaner tightly around the stick of one Tootsie Pop. Repeat with a second Tootsie Pop.
Step 2: Make the Cherry Pair

Use another green pipe cleaner to twist the two wrapped Tootsie Pop sticks together. This will form your cherry “stem.”
Step 3: Shape the Leaves

Use the ends of the pipe cleaner to bend and shape small leaves at the top. Don’t worry about perfection—slightly wonky leaves add to the charm!
Step 4: Prep the Valentine Tags

Cut out your leaf tags and punch a hole at the top. Have your child sign their name on the back for a personal touch.
Step 5: Attach the Tag

Thread red and white twine or ribbon through the tag and tie it around the top of the Tootsie Pop cherries.
And that’s it! 🍒
