Lennon & Rowe’s 8th birthday party was an epic Taylor Swift Eras tour-inspired event. It was filled with friends, food, fun, fashion and of course…a concert. This has been by far one of my favorite parties to plan. From the little details to the decor, my girls loved it and we will be talking about it for years to come I am sure.
Now, I was super proud of myself for taking a bunch of photos of things before the party started but in true Morgan fashion, I still managed to forget a few things so you will have to forgive me as there is no use getting any teardrops on my guitar about it (I hope someone laughs at that TS reference). One of these years I will get it right.
Here are all of the party details so you can through your very own Birthday Era party, too!
The Invitation
Per usual, I purchased the Taylor Swift birthday party invitation from the Stargazer Paper Goods Etsy shop. It comes in the form of a downloadable file that can then be edited and personalized in Etsy. I sent these to the friend’s parents via text and it works out great.

The Outfits
I purchased these “In My Swiftie Era” shirts from Temu (they don’t have the exact shirt available anymore but the one linked is very similar). We paired them with these fun holographic shorts and sunglasses from Amazon.

The Cake
I made my own cake again – a three layered white cake that I dyed pink with food coloring. I covered it in purple frosting, and topped it with sprinkles and this PERFECT cake topper.

The Photo Op
You all know how much I LOVE a balloon arch photo op backdrop, and this one did NOT disappoint. I made my fringe party backdrop using purple and pink table cloths and then hung this affordable rockstar-inspired balloon arch I found in Amazon. It even came with some mylar music notes, microphones, stars and a disco ball! I created a polaroid photo frame out of cardboard and paint, inspired by Taylor’s 1989 album for the kids to hold up as a photo prop. So cute!

The Food
In a previous blog post I detailed all of the fun, delicious themed food I put together for the party. You can check that out here:

The Goodie Bags
So this was one of the areas I slacked on with photography, so I will do my best to paint the picture for you. I purchased pink and silver iridescent bags from Temu and put cutout lips, microphones, guitars, butterflies, sunglasses and “Swifties” that were made on a Cricut on the outside of each bag. In each bag I put a couple Eras Tour friendship bracelets (the bracelets had the names of each Taylor Swift album on them), and some Taylor Swift tattoos and stickers. Finally, since I decided not to do a pinata, I added some candy. The bags are reusable so I am hopeful none of the kids or parents threw them away!
The Entertainment
It is so important to have some activities for kids at your parties, especially if you want them to stay occupied and not completely destroy your house. This Swiftie party included friendship bracelet making, a glam station and Taylor Swift karaoke concert complete with disco ball. I detailed these activities in more depth in this blog post:

The Decor
I purchased these signs on Etsy as well, and then I framed them and set them up around the house.

The cake table included a fringe back drop, balloon arch and arch banner that said “Happy Birthday Lennon & Rowe”.

I hung multiple banners and on the mantle I included a couple framed signs, some gold hear hands, a gold butterfly and some tombstones (all reminiscent of Taylor albums/songs).

The party really was a hit! We had so much fun and were washing glitter and tattoos off of our body for days (I might even say over a week for some of those tattoos). I hope you found some inspo here for your own T. Swift party!
