Treats on a stick are just so much more fun, don’t you agree? I also find them to be a BIT less messy. I used paper straws as the “stick” and store bought Rice Krispie treats to save time and sanity. I decorated them with colored melting chocolate and patriotic sprinkles.
I brought these to my son’s end of the year t-ball party and they were a hit. They were gone so fast and everyone raved about them. They are perfect for any 4th of July event, summer party or outdoor BBQ. Change up the colors, sprinkles and straws and you can make these for any holiday!
Ingredients & Supplies

- Rice Krispie Treats
- Colored melting chocolate (red, white and blue)
- Patriotic sprinkles
- Patriotic straws
- Microwave safe bowl
- Spoon
- Parchment paper
Instructions
Line your counter or a platter with parchment paper.
Unwrap the Rice Krispie Treats.

Cut the paper straws in half.

Insert one straw into the bottom of each Rice Krispie treat like a popsicle stick.

Melt the red and blue chocolate in separate microwave safe bowls according to package instructions.

Dip the Rice Krispie treats into the melted chocolate until they are about halfway covered. Place on the parchment paper with the straws facing up.
While the chocolate is still soft, add some sprinkles to some of the treats and place back on the parchment paper.

Allow the treats to completely harden. You can speed up the process by placing in the freezer for a few minutes.
Next, melt the white chocolate according to package instructions.
Lay rice crispy treats down flat. Use a spoon to drizzle white chocolate on any of the treats that do not yet have sprinkles.

Add sprinkles to the white drizzle before it has a chance to harden.

Place back in the freezer until they are completely hard. Remove from the parchment paper and display on your favorite 4th of July themed platter or in cute cups or jars.
