Contrary to popular opinion, I prefer Golden Oreos to traditional, chocolate Oreos. So, when St. Patrick’s Day comes around and gold coins are a staple, so to become Golden Oreos! In this rendition of chocolate dipped Oreos, I have used Lucky Charms cereal, pink and green melting chocolate (pink goes with every holiday, I promise), St. Patrick’s Day themed sprinkles and of course, Golden Oreos.

These make the perfect addition to treat boards, St. Patty’s themed school lunches, or even to attract leprechauns!

Tip: Make them in advance and freeze them until you are ready to eat!

Ingredients/Supplies

• Golden Oreos
• Green & pink melting chocolate
• Lucky Charms
• St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles
• Gold sprinkles
• Microwave safe bowl
• Parchment paper
• Spatula

Instructions

Dump chocolate in microwave safe bowl (one color at a time) according to package instructions. Stir until smooth.

Dip half of each Golden Oreo in chocolate a place on parchment paper.

Top with Lucky Charms marshmallows.

Add sprinkles.

Allow to harden completely and then enjoy!
