What?!?! Another holiday cookie recipe? I just keep cranking them out. This year is all about non-traditional cookies that taste delicious and are ALMOST to cute to eat. Like these Christmas Ornament Oreos. They are a fun take on the regular chocolate dipped Oreos that my mom has made the past couple of decades. With just a few extra supplies and steps, you can make these, too!
Ingredients/Supplies
- Oreos (if you can get your hands on the ones with the red frosting, go with those)
- Mini Reese’s Cups
- Melting chocolate
- Food coloring
- Sprinkles
- Parchment paper
- Microwave safe bowl
Instructions
Melt the melting chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl according to the instructions on the package. Stir until smooth. Add food coloring to change the color if you wish!

Line a tray with parchment paper.

Dip Oreos in melted chocolate until completely covered. Set on parchment paper.

Add a mini Reese’s Cup (upside down) to the top of the Oreo, using the chocolate to make it stick.

Add some sprinkles!

Allow to completely harden (the freezer will speed up this process) and then remove each cookie from the parchment paper and serve!
