You get a wreath, you get a wreath, you get a wreath! That is what I say to all my (well not ALL, but a lot of them) doors and windows during the holidays. Wreaths are such a simple way to dress up your door and their are SOOOOO many different varieties. And guess what?!? You can often DIY a wreath for fractions of what you would pay for a similar one in a retail store. Just find your wreath inspo, pop over to the craft store and get to work.
This dried orange holiday wreath can be tweaked to go with any style – classic, farmhouse, whimsical, etc. It’s all in the embellishments and bow color! I chose a pink velvet bow to tie in with the pops of Christmas pink I have throughout my home, and the rose gold bells and white wreath help make it a bit more whimsical and less farmhouse-y.

This wreath changes locations often. This year it is on the exterior front door, but it has also been on my interior front door and the window above my kitchen sink. Who knows where you will find it next year. If you want to make one for yourself, gather up these supplies and follow my DIY instructions!
Supplies
- Grapevine wreath (I spray painted mine white)
- Oranges
- Metal cooling rack
- Parchment Paper
- Knife
- Velvet ribbon
- Mini tree topper (star)
- Vintage bells
- Twine
- Evergreen/pine stems
- Hot glue gun/glue sticks
- Floral wire
- Cutting board
Instructions
Start by dehydrating the oranges according to these instructions.

Once the dehydration process is complete, use hot glue to glue the dried orange slices to the grapevine wreath. Fill up half of the wreath and be sure to overlap them.

Secure a few of the evergreen stems to the other side of the wreath using floral wire. Leave and open space at the top between the oranges and stems.

Cut a piece of the velvet ribbon, weave it through the wreath (at the top where the oranges stop) and tie it in a bow.

Cut the base of the mini tree topper star off. I used wire cutters. Secure this to the wreath with wire as well.

Cute a few pieces of twine in slightly varying lengths. Tie one end of the string to each bell.

Attach the other end of the string to the wreath so the bells hang down toward the middle/side of the wreath. I tied mine behind the star.

And now you are ready to hang your wreath!
