Give me ALLLLL the disco ball decor. This trend is hot and there are so many disco ball decor pieces lining the shelves of my favorite stores. While I did find some rose gold disco ball spiders in the Target Dollar Spot recently, I also wanted some classic silver ones. I already had all the supplies I needed at home since I am a disco ball ornament hoarder, so I whipped up these fantastically creepy spiders in no time.
You can find these setup all around my house, including hanging from my mantel, mirrors, on shelves and tables, stuck in wreaths and more. Gather up some mirror balls and pipe cleaners and let’s get to work!
Supplies
- Silver disco ball ornaments in at least two sizes (think head size and body size)
- Silver pipe cleaners
- Hot glue gun/glue sticks
- Fishing line
Instructions

First, remove the plastic ornament hook thing (no clue what it is called) from all of the larger ornaments by carefully twisting and pulling. If you are not planning to hang these anywhere, you can remove from all of the ornaments.

Glue the smaller ornament to the larger ornament using hot glue. Connect them together where you removed the plastic pieces. Allow to dry.

Glue four pipe cleaners horizontally across the back of the larger ornament to make the legs.

Once dry, bend each leg once to create “knees”.

Thread fishing line through the plastic piece on the top of the head and tie into a loop if you want to hang these.

That is literally all there is to it. Wasn’t that super easy?
